Mom’s Alone

Mom lives alone now since dad died and I know she’s been having kind of a hard time. I went to www.homesecuritysystem.com a month or so ago and found a good alarm system to suggest to her and I know she’s been asking me to come over now more than ever. It’s a really tough thing because I have my own family that I owe my free time to but I sure don’t want to disappoint mom in her time of need, you know? Have any of you out there struggled with this sort of thing? It’s hard having a single parent at her age and I know she’s got no real intention of dating or marryingagain so I feel like it may just be this way forever. It’s nice to have her around more though for the kids and even my husband likes her so that’s one less thing for me to worry about! We’ll find a balance soon, I’m sure, but until then mom’s sort of on her own unless I’m free.
